Seachem Salt GROUP BUY !?!

I know that there are a lot of group buys out there now but hey, if it saves some money...

I talked to the local distributer for Seachem and he is going to give me prices on salt (both Reef and Marine) i will have the prices tomorrow


Prices will be a few(2-3) dollars less than Marine Depot but it will come in 160 gallon buckets not 150 gallon boxes

is anyone interested in doing this? if i buy 3 pallets i can have the order delivered to my house for local reefers to pick up... less than 3 i will have to pick up from a wholeseller...

Is anyone in, if how many buckets would you get?

ok just so you know there are 38 buckets on a pallet so if you can afford to stock up this would be the time!!!

i am more than willing to do this 1 bucket at a time but at that rate we will never hit 2 pallets.. i am willing to get an entire pallet myself to help this buy out...

I would have thought you'd be done with group buys for a while after just hosting one. I'd buy a couple of buckets but I always buy catalina water. I hope you get your three pallets

ok i sent the Seachem rep an email reminding him to get me a price.. i dont think we will hit 2 pallets with this buy(72 buckets) so i think it will try and get the best price for a single pallet... unless of couse if alot more people chime in. I will pick it up the salt at the vendor and if you want in pick up would be at my house 90026...

The prices that Seachem is giving me are a dollar and change cheaper than Marine Depot.. so i dont think it will be worth it, marine depot is selling this salt basically at cost..

Sorry guys i really thought that i could get a good deal, but i would have to order a trailer's worth of salt to really get a deal.
