Seahorse nano?

Well, i have my 12g nano set up. I have right this moment 8 dwarf seahorses in it. And some babies on the way. These guys are only bout an inch so I was wondering what mods would be safe to do on a nano that wouldn't intrude the view of the tank. I have never had a nano before. I would like to figure out how to hide a skimmer somewhere in it. Let me know if anyone has suggestions. Thanks!

Viper.....could you post pics?
Also why would you like mods? Like what are you needing to improve? They sell a skimmer called saphire I believe that should be good for the 12g. I believe it sits in one of the chambers.
If you have the original return pump you might want to change it for a MJ 900. then put a hydor current deflector and that should give you a decent current but not too bad.
What lights do you have on it? Is it a JBJ Nano cube?

it is a nano cube DX. Has 2x24w 50/50 lights. I put a 80gph pump in it. could use little more but I didn't want the little guys to get blown around. So it works. I will try to take some pics. Thanks. When I get a good stock and start noticing some breeding, I will sell a few. I got 3 males that were pregnant. only waiting on the last one to go.

hey clockwurk how is the tank running? you should post some pics of it. keep me updated!

also venom00viper i would love to see some pics of your tank in action!

The nano that Mel bought from me was a coral and seahorse tank. The seahorse did fine except that he would occasionally jump over the top surface skimmer overflow. He would usually just attach to the heater cable back there and hang out, but once he didnt :( :( :( It was a sad day.

i just set up a 6 gal nano seahorse tank. Would you be interested in selling some babies?

If not let me know. I was thinking of doing an order of them from online...we can split shipping.
