setting your reef octopus space saver skimmer?

I have the 150 model

Looking to see what water depth others have theirs set in and where do you typicly run the top of foam in neck

Have had mine for several months. Was skimming very wet. Getting more yellow skimmate. Then it started over flowing and not skimming . tore down cleaned and then it was pulling dark green ( small amounts per day but thick. Week later started over foaming. As normal when break in. Now it won't skim.

Approx 80 gal in system not heavily stocked. Two clowns and a cardinal ATM

Was in 8.5" of water mover it to 6" and will see how it does.
