How long have you had it and what are the lighting, placement...stuff like that please?

hey sorry I have been swamped it is high in my tank almost directly under one of the 250W 14k's I have had it since mid august when it was a browned out piece from the guy who gave it to me... he was moving and had neglected his tank so he wanted me to take it and nurse it back... also it was about dime sized when I got it, now it is about half dollar sized so I am seeing really really good growth.

This is an amazing display of hard work and talent. Where did you guys get that rainbow, it has to be one of my favorites.

OK, can someone tell me how you guy's are taking these top down photo's with no glare?! I went and got one of those acrylic boxes fish stores use to hold netted fish, tried to take a picture through it and still got the glare. It works great to look into the tank but not so great for pics.
Can you give me a step by step and things needed so I can get some pics like that!

this is what i use for top down shots, i made it out of some scraps i had lying around. i dont have a glare, because i make sure the lens of the camera is against the bottom of the acrylic box, and the bottom of the box is under water.

i have to admit it is a little nerve racking standing on a stool, holding a the camera in an acrylic box floating in saltwater waiting for the 2 second timer to go off and trying to be still (that sentence gives you an idea of how long 2 seconds can be :D ).
