Yes I still leave my Koralias on...just turn off the returns and skimmmer is all. My fish work for their food. They aren't scavengers and don't get anything for free in the ocean either.

Yeah I forgot about the skimmer. Otherwise it overflows.
Return
Heaters
Chiller
Skimmer
That's all

No turning off for me.I turn my vortechs down, and when feeding flakes,I pinch it between my fingers under the water surface and release this helps to keep it from going in the overflow.

leave everything on. filter sock catches what isn't eaten. The particulate organic matter (POM) becomes dissolved organic matter (DOM) as the particles break down in the sock.

I have the RKL, and place it in standby mode for feeding frozen food, Oyster Feast and Phyto. The return comes back on 30 minutes later, and the skimmer 1 hour later. When I feed flakes I just place the Vortechs in feed mode.

I turn everything off for feeding and about 15-30 min after. Good for spot feeding....and why would I want to lose half of the food I just put in?
