Sicce pump for Vortex calcium reactor

Can anybody suggest a solution to replace the custom Sicce 1.5 pump for the Vertex calcium reactors? My pump went out and now I am stuck.

Can you use an eheim 1048 pump? That is what Geo used to use and as well as Koarllin still uses.

It's a plumbing issue. The OEM pump has a metric (1 cm?) union glued to it (output end). Also, the input connection looks like this:

I've got the same reactor & pump. It might be hard to find a direct replacement. Is the motor bad or is it just an impeller?

The impeller broke. It seems to have roughed up the barrel on the inside so I am not sure if replacing the impeller alone would be sufficient.

No response from Vertex.

I have been struggling with this for 4 weeks meaning my Ca reactor has been offline for that long. Vertex customer service is nonexistent. I wish I had known that when I was buying a $400 piece of equipment. So disappointing.
