Skimmer Differences

Hey folks!

Well im not sure if I am gonna be able to get that Euro-Reef I was so stoked about, oh well things happen. I am still looking around for a good one at a decent price. At moment I cant afford the $300 + ones I would love to have. So I am hunting online, LFS, and of course EBAY! lol A few questions regarding different brands. What exactly is a JEBO its a brand correct? and is it any good? Also I am looking at a Berlin Turbo, comments? And what about Kent Marine Skimmers? Thanks again guys!

I would look on www.h2otropicals.com for a blemished Euro Reef. The blemishes don't effect the skimmers performance. I got one (ES-5) for 138.00 shipped.

I do not recommend the JEBO skimmers in the least. All the ones I have seen set up are extremely poor performers (or non-existent performers).

go with ASM...cheaper version of Euro-Reef

I have heard a couple of good things, and A LOT of bad things about JEBO/ODYYSEA. I would just stay away from them. ASM is my reccomendation.

ASM is a good buy if you can't step up to a Euroreef -- cheaper materials and construction, similar performance.

if you go with ASM, buy it from Reefgeek. com. ASM website costs more $$$$
