Hello RC Swimmers,

I have a 16 gal bow and was looking into purchasing a 18" protein skimmer for my tank. I was looking into purchasing the SeaClone 100. I have 2 Tamato Clowns and a small Coral Beauty (Dwarf Angel), cleaner shrimp, emerald crab, 5 snails, and hermit crab. Can anyone tell me if this is a good skimmer?
Please feel free to post comments. Thanks again.

Here is the skimmer link.

(Awaits Flames).....although you will here pros (and mostly cons).....the 100 is a good skimmer for the price.....be patient with it.......

Is the Seaclone 100 too big for a 16 gal. Says up to 100 gal use. Over skimming is good or bad for this setup?

:bum:

Rather than spend money on a SeaClone, you might be better off just doing more water changes for that size tank. I guess a SeaClone would provide aeration, if that's the issue, but their skimming abilities seem pretty nil.
