Skimmer Help

Need to find a in sump skimmer that will operate in 4 inches of water. I have a 21 gallon and just built a sump for it. Almost like I need an in sump nano skimmer... I'll post a pic of the sump

I don't want to submerge the algae turf scubber. It's the slanted baffle on the right

Perhaps you could run an external/ recirculating skimmer?

That's not a bad idea. I'd rather have the skimmer in the sump however. If it came down to it i could do that.I thought maybe a ghost skimmer but I think they need to be submerged quite deep

I don't know of any off hand, most smaller ones need at least 6" water.....You are going to have algae issues inside your skimmer if that light is also shinning on it to.

Oh good to know I will either section it off or find a better lighting option

If anyone was wondering what is with the section below the scubber. That will be a small deepish sand bed. I found this configuration online and liked it so we will see how it goes
