I didnt realize there was a thread on this topic. Sure would be nice if there were some sort of search feature. Can you direct me to the thread?

If you look on top of the screen you see the search button. The sad thing is that its probably not working due to high usage and traffic. If you become a premium member I think you have better access to it.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

seriously, if the Eco-aqualizer did what it claims to do EVERYONE would have one on their tank, from the glaring lack of responses from happy users, EVER, I highly doubt this unit has any effect.

FYI the ecoaqualizer has been out for at least 2 years.

posted a thread just like this 48 hrs ago. found their ad in Tropical Fish Hobbiest mag. It says they have 100% rating from Better Business Bureau. However, they have no rating from any type of aquatics organizations. I'd go with my gut and especially when compared to my protein skimmer

We decided to look into this product after a lengthy thread on the Reefs.org website where it was discussed. Our first impression was that the number and extent of the claims made for the product was totally out of proportion for what the product seemed to be. We decided to look into this product after a lengthy thread on the Reefs.org website where it was discussed. Our first impression was that the number and extent of the claims made for the product was totally out of proportion for what the product seemed to be.

The product explanations given on the website flew in the face of sound engineering and scientific principles. In addition, the product description seemed awfully close to numerous magnetic products sold for water purification, medical uses, and even to improve automobile gas mileage. Several of the companies selling the latter products have recently been prosecuted by the Federal Trade Commission for false claims and deceptive sales tactics. So this product raised several red flags with us, and we considered it worthy of checking out.

We ordered one from the manufacturer, and then recieved two more from hobbyists who had tried them and didn't want them anymore. We're working on several test protocols to properly investigate what, if anything, these do to the water, so please check back often as we will be updating these pages as we go.
