Anybody ever have to replace the O-ring in the flow adjuster in a Coralife 65 skimmer? Is it even possible? I'm ready to smash this thing!

I had a Aqua Medic Turboflotor 5000 Shorty Compact as my very first skimmer ever a long time ago and I had to replace the 0-rings. Aqua Medic, similar to Coralife makes terrible quality stuff for reef tanks. I would never ever buy or use anything Coralife or Aqua Medic again even if I was paid to.
There must be a way to replace the 0-ring, what seems to be the problem are you unable to adjust the skimmate height to a point where it cleans the water?
