Skimmer reccomendations

[MG21]

Looking for a skimmer for my new 475 I will be having built. Have had good luck with my euro reef on my 240. Any other suggestions. Would prefer in sump. Thanks.

Reeflo 250 or 2 MSX/octo extreme 300s for the budget savvy.
Or BK300 or ATB med/Large for the Deep Pockets.

A little more of what your looking for in a skimmer would help. Budget, insump or out, type of skimmer, what you plan to keep etc.

IMO the Atb med. to small for this size of tank .

if he want Ext. the MSX or Octo 300 out.

Volcano can be good chioce to and H&S...

there is a lot of good skimmer out there....

MSX250/300 or Octo Extreme 250/300 (exact same skimmers, different brands) could handle 500+ galllons....

Plus, with the current pricing war you're looking at under $500 shipped!!!

If price isn't an issue, I'd look at maybe an ATB Medium or ATB Large

The Bermuda 8C would be a good choice - $800 plus pump (maybe a Mag 18). I have a 5C on my 180 and it kicks butt.

ATB large
H&S 250 2x1260 internal
Bubble King Deluxe 300 internal

Tank will be FOWLR with very few corals, lot's of fish. Also is ATB internal or external? Thanks.

all those are very good skimmer to your tank size .

also you can get all of them internal or external .
