small tank housing a tridacna

I am setting up a 15 gallon high tank that is retro fitted with a 32 watt smart lamp. I was hoping to put a tridacna clam in it. If 32 watts is not enough, would it help to place it up in the rocks? I would also like to put a mated pair of Ocean Rider seahorses in the tank. Has anyone out there had any luck with tridacnids in small tanks?

i had a blue maxima in a 4ish gallon tank with 4 9watt PC's on it (with a 10 gallon sump). it did very well in that tank for over a year before i broke it down and moved everything back into my main tank. it was a tall acrylic tank with a very small opening at the top and got to be too much of a pain to clean the coralline off the sides.

You might want to rethink the mixing of seahorses and clams. If the horse attempts to hitch to the clam there could be a problem.
