smelly water?

Why would my water be smelling moldy? no ammonia, no nitrites, and very few nitrates. Do I need to do another water change, just added new carbon to canister filter?

How is your skimate looking? Is your seaclone doing its job?

The seaclone is the only skimmer I have ever owned, it has been filling the cup 1/2 full every 3-4 days, so I guess it is working.

Does the tank have a surface film at all? Those can be unpleasant, IME.

The tank is little over 2 months old, not much surface film on top of water. Added two very large snails couple of days ago and they have cleaned the rock work very well, smell has dissappeared.
