Snails in Guaranteed Parasite Free Water?

Does anyone know where I can buy snails locally (Buffalo) that are NOT kept in the same system/water with fish? I have been so careful to make sure my DT is parasite free for my fish and I don't want to taint it. I suppose I can setup a 10 gallon and keep it fallow and let my snails live in there for 4 weeks.

I can't think of any parasites that prey on both snails and fish. If you were worried about incidental hitch hikers you could just do a thorough rinse in freshly made saltwater and then two tank transfer method for a few days.
