Snails?

What would you say are the snails that do the best cleanup job?

Turbos, astreas, ceriths, nassarius, conchs, and stomatella. They all eat algae and eat all different kinds so a diversity is best IMO.

Turbo snails are really fast, efficient cleaners. Unfortunately, they can eat coralline algae, so I opt for Astrea snails instead. They are slower and you need more of them, but they do a good job.

I have never seen a turbo eat coralline. Urchins eat coralline and I believe some cowries do as well.
