Folks,
I have a one year old Solana Cardiff 24+gallon tank, maple stand and HQI pendant for sale cheap. I'd like to move this to a new home asap.
I did do a little "remodeling" with it. I removed the internal filter. It's really not very good and made ATO a HUGE problem. I used a hanging overflow to bring water down to a sump where I could have a proper skimmer, etc. As you can see, there is about 3-4 inches of the black filter wall still on the bottom of the tank. I've been lazy and haven't removed it plus it was easy to hide with my sand and live rock.
It's for sale for $225. This unit sells new for over $800. The HQI 150w alone is worth more than what I'm selling the whole thing for.
