A store in the US was clearancing off an old model of Solaris (the 250W model), so I took the jump and purchased one. So far, it's amazingly easy to use and I just really adore it. It pretty much takes care of everything itself, once you program your custom settings.
Tank at night, with all the lights off and blue lights set to 8%:
Tank during the morning with blue lights set to 100% and white lights set to 70%:
Cons:
- Since the lights go straight down for the most part, the back and front of the tank don't get as much light.
-The fans are pretty damn noisy.
My anemone seems to like it so far though
I haven't figured out what to do with my old MH light setup yet though, but I'll worry about that later.
I do need to buy some more fish though. Something tame. Maybe some Purple queens.
