Some acts for fighting hair algae

hello,
My name is Aviad
Ihave for a long time the hair algae I think about 8 months.
The tank is 30 gallons I have prizm skimmer I upgraded it to a Tunze 3130, and I bought new R/O system...
do you think it would help me in the fight against the algae.. and what else can I do? I don't have over bio-load I almost don't feed just a little amount? are the acts of the skimmer and the R/O system would help?

Aaack nooo...

You will kill all the beneficial bacteria and inverts in your rock along with the algae.

1. Try adding macro alge to compete for nutrients with the hair algae

2. look at adding an algae eating blenny to help control the algae

3. read this and consider how you can help you macro outcompete the hair algae.
