I still think it's the sun anemone S. helianthus but it's not well. Carpet anemones that aren't sticky aren't healthy. The doreensis is showing signs of stress as well (ie: short tentacles/inflated column).

"wish I still had big fella"-I have to say that you may be right because these are both passed away. And I am unsure why they did except for lack of general maint. by me which I regret but a move was also factored in- but as for the stickiness of the sun nem it was plenty sticky. I fed it silversides 3-5 times a week and it had no problem grabbing any fish that happened too close to the clowns lair.

I think I saw the quote the more I find out about reefing the less I know-or something to that effect.

Myself /Oneradtek and Jaybfresh all live in an area called Pitcher Hill.

FWIW- recently found out 5 reefkeepers live on my road alone.

Im not real sure what it is I got then.....It looks like what alphaferret posted and its definately fast grower so I dont think its bleached.
I dont want to hijack here so Ill figure another way to get a pick maybe you guys can identify it.

yea some people call the light orange monti a pink monti, im sure its not bleached...they just will show different shades depending on differing conditions like lighting,water params,flow and temp

I have a hard time with pics ,too. I think part of it is we both have b0OOFROnts.Sorta like taking a pic through a bottle.I think your closeups came out pretty good,better than any of the ones Ive taken.
