First of all justa little intro..
This tank is 2 years old (I had 2 other before) , this is my first SPS dominated.
This setup is a normal one , just LR,skimmer , light and strong water movement.
Just before the first year birtday I had a terrible issue , an unknown bacteric SPS disease (very similar to black band and red band) killed nearly all my Acropora and the consequences (high nutrients caused by the dead corals) hurted all other SPS .
I solved the situation after 8 months of death.. but it probably solved itself (I've tried nearly everything) .
Since October 2008 I'm slowly adding corals again , all this started from 1" frags given by fellow reefers or bought.
I love to take pictures from above with my photobox and without.
Those are some closeups ..
I'm not so happy about some colors, but they are coming back really nicely , still have some PO4 issues.
For the people interested the tank is a 100 gal , 10x39W ATI Powermodule, 2x6100 Stream Tunze with controller, Aquatronica computer, Bubble Magus 150 Skimmer, Korallin c3001 Ca Reactor.
No supplements , that's all .. (I like keeping it simple)
