Hi, i found 3 or 4 of this critter swiming in the water and diggin in the sand bed..

We call them sea cicadas over here in California.

They're ok, but I wouldn't put it in an aquarium. Best left in the sand.
 
growing up in socal I always called them sand crabs. The big ones with fat orange egg sacks are delicious dipped an rice flour and deep fried, like popcorn crab.
 
Sand flea is what we call them. The filter the water with long feathery filters. They will starve in your tank more than likely.
 
how did you get this in your tank? are you collecting rock/sand from the wild?

Yes, Ive collected from the wild. Just the sand, but live rock I collected them dry and cured it. I live in dominican republic (Caribbean) Its hard and expensive to buy and keep them alive during the shipping process

The sand is most likely where you got him, or its eggs. They make great fish bait!
