Spaghetti worms good or bad?

I was wondering if these spaghetti worms are good or bad. I happen to have millions of them coming out of the sand in my 55G.

I don't have the millions of spaghetti worms you have, come to think of it, they all disappeared..but when I did have some, they didn't bother anything, just detrivores.
