What does everyone keep there salt level at.
Do you keep it hypo to keep away Ich and other parisites ?

I keep my FO at 1.020

Reef at 1.025

is everyone been ick free, I keep mine at 1.017 and have had no problems. however, I was told to raise for better skimmer performance.

No ick here. IMO 1.017 all the time is not a good idea. At least get it up slowly to 1.020. Makes it real hard to acclimate new fish as your LFS is usually higher.

I agree. I'm slowly raising it to 1.022

however hypo only works on Ich and not other diseases which you may misidentify as Ich like Oodinum(spelling?).
