How big before my rics split its pretty big

Is that the ric in the middle? If it is it almost looks like a hairy mushroom not a ricordia. Maybe if you have a close up.

I agree, I don't see any rics in there, just a huge, beautiful hairy shroom

Yeah, looks like a hairy mushroom, probably two. It appears that on the right side is a smaller one.

Your's appears to be very similar to the one in the upper right circle.

They have been known to eat larger organisms. By Shrimp do you mean brine shrimp?
