Good morning all!...I've got this growth in my tank that I've been refering to as an orange sponge...Someone ask if I was sure it wasn't a "tunicate"...I had never heard of such critter and was looking for someway to tell them apart...The orange whatever-it-is can be seen at the link below...Thanks for any and all help...Best regards...Jim

Thanks all!...I've got a sponge from the looks of it :)

Ron,
Thanks for the link on tunicates...That's wild how their hearts can reverse flow!...Beating for 100 beats in one direction, then reversing for 100 beats in the opposite direction...Coool critters!

Best regards...Jim

Larry,
That's what happens everytime I try to post a pic...I've been having to set up a webpage, then post the webpage to get the link to work...I'm seriously considering changing to a server that will let me post...Will homestead do this?

Jim

There we go, I moved it to my site.
Yeah, Jim, Homestead allows you to do this. You should get a site with them if for no other reason than to show your pics.

Coool!!!!!!
Check out the marble sized bubble algae to the right of the sponge!
Now, to work on the new website...That editor is somewhat slow on this computer; so I think I'll wait till I get my new one on monday...It's about time those tightwads bought me one!

Thanks Larry for the heads up on homestead!!!

Best regards...Jim
