Spring a leak

My wife noticed water on the floor on my tank, and after about 3 hours trying to figure it out,it was my tunze ATO my tunze ATO pump that was drilled so it would not get air bubbles in it, the pump is powerful enough to spray the water out of my 5 gallon ATO container. So you think that is it? NOPE

I have a leak in my IM Lagoon 25, the back left bottom is weeping water:headwallblue: So far it is a small amount but then again there is no such thing. So now either buy another IM Lagoon 25, this time I will get the one with the baffles in the rear, instead of the Ext model I have now. Or put my dry 40 gallon breeder together with every single piece purchased less the ;plumbing bits for the ghost overflow,:fun4: decisions decisions Big problem lack of space, luckily I can put the 40 in a different spot that would make it so much easier. So I have something to do now.

moondoggy4 so sorry to hear that. I wish I had a spare tank to lend ya. I'm guessing you're probably at it tonight getting everything in a temp tank or the 40. Hoping things go well with the new setup.

Sorry about the leak...if you know where the leak path is you might be able to buy some time using two part coral epoxy. Move the sand out of the way and scrub the glass as best you can then jam the epoxy into the leaky corner. I did this year's ago when the seam on an acrylic tank separated. It held long enough for me to find and setup a replacement. Good luck

Thanks everyone, I am surprised that a IM Lagoon 25 is leaking, it is still weeping, I will make some salt water just in case of a rupture. I can put my 40 breeder together, it is nearly 90% ready to go. I do have my 120 up and going for 15 years and I have two other small tanks going as well.

moondoggy4 hey sir I can most likely rebuild the tank for you. Just over the summer I rebuilt a lee-mar 187g.
This was the tank when I bought it.

I found out when I got it home all the seams were failing and had massive air bubbles

So I ripped the tank apart and rebuilt it and changed a few features. Like getting rid of the internal overflow and going external. Also going from a 4" eurobrace to a 2" eurobrace

The tank has been up leak tested and running sense 10/22/21 and haven't had a single issue as you can see on date stamp

I still have 3 unused tubes of black aquarium silicone sealant and all the tools to rebuild a tank. Plus I'm in Perris CA and if I remember correctly your in Menifee right

Yes I am in Menifee thanks for all of the photos, there is proof in the pudding your tank is holding water, once I get it switched over I can give it a try.
Was your Lee Mar and old corner overflow that was converted?

It was center overflow. I covered the 1 2" drain hole with a large piece of glass.

I did have to replace the front pain of glass. The tank had horrible etching so when I was sanding/polishing the front pain i over heated the glass and cracked a corner off.

I ended up getting decent as sanding and polishing glass after doing every inside piece of glass. I should learned on a side piece not the main front piece lol.
