I am selling off all the SPS corals from my 220 Gallon Tank. Over 30 different species of SPS coral will be available.
Here is a sample:

Acropora batunai ââ"šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ ORA Purple Pillow Top ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¢ Acropora hoeksemai ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¢ Acropora loisettae - 'Steve Elias Stag' Limited
Edition ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¢ Acropora mlipora ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¢ Acropora tenuis ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¢ Acropora tortusa ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¢ Acropora turaki ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¢ Acropora valida ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¢ Montipora
digitata ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¢ Montipora capricornis (Green with Purple Rim, Orange, Green, Purple) ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¢ Seriatopora hystrix ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¢
Seriatopora caliendrum ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¢ Echinopora lamellosa 'Blue Chalice'

These coral have been collected from all over the United States. Many have been grown from small frags
to huge colonies.

This is not a FRAG sale. I am selling off the entire colonies. (Although I do have a few frags that will be sold as well.)
None of the live rock or fish are for sale.

To ensure fairness in everyone getting a chance at the corals they want everything will be sold via auction with
no reserves or minimums. Everything in the tank that day will be sold. (I am keeping the few softies and LPS)

The sale will take place on Saturday June 11th at my home in Longwood. Doors open for viewing at
11:00 am with the sale starting promptly at 1:00 pm.

I will accept Cash and Credit via Paypal ONLY. No checks. A map and directions will be posted 1 week prior to the sale.
PM me with ANY questions.

Wow!! I can't believe it! I had the same question as Carole...why? Ehh, it might be personal and I don't want to pry. This will be a sight for the ages. You have the best stuff out of anyone. If I am in any way able to make it, you better believe I will be there with bells on. You have probably the most amazing collection of coral and it will be as sad a day as the day George and Jo took down their sps tank.

Well as many of you know Naomi and I had two new additions to our family in February. We're at a point in our lives where our priorities have shifted a little bit. I thought long and hard about it and came close to a decision to take the tanks down completely but instead decided on a simplification route.

I'm going to go back to LPS and softies. I'm going to switch the lighting from Metal Halides to T5s, get rid of the chiller, take down the frag tank (along with its metal halides), get rid of the Calcium reactor, and sell of the Tunze Streams.

I love the club and the hobby; they have both been a big part of my life for the last five years and help me get through some very rough times. My fear was that if I got rid of the tank entirely that I would drift away from both.

We love having you as a part of our club and wish nothing but the best. We never want you to drift away and I am glad to hear you are sticking with it. By the way, I have plenty of softies I can frag you if you need some help filling out your tank. You have been a great help to all of us and I will return the favor in any way possible. Hope everything works out the way it should. Babies...they are time consuming, huh? Good luck and God speed.

You say June 11th which is Sunday, in your description you say Saturday. Can you confirm correct date and day. Thanks.

I'm leaving town the day after the auction for almost a week. If I win, would I be able to leave the corals with you until I get back? It would make my purchasing decision much easier.

Ok just to be clear it has moved out a week from the 11th to the 17th correct? I just need to be sure because I travel alot and want to be in town that weekend. Thanks.

None of the equipment will be sold that day. Once the corals are sold I will start transition the tank to its new form. At that point I will make up my mind about what I want to keep and what I want to sell.

It will probably be the end of June before I'm ready to sell of any of the equipment.
