i have a few colonies that the tips turned white (not new growth) my parms are fine. i run T5's on a 40 breeder and run a mp40 and mp20. i know i dont have bugs.
paramiters are:
mag 1380
cal 420
dkh 10
any help would be great

I am gonna have to check I don't feed heavy actually every 2 days so I don't really check nitates. Thank you for the responce I will check it today and post the results
well i did the rest of the tests and now i am clueless

any other suggestions would be great.
i even check my rodi and tds is also 0-1 so its not that either

a lot of times it is just your sps growing is why the tips are white. The base and everythign looks fine right?? Also the white tips don't seem to be moving down right? My guess is that your corals are growing.
actually there is no flesh on the tips white skeleton the bases are fine. and still have great polyp extension. i am just wondering since all my levels are on point. maybe have to dose something else. since it looks like the corals obviously are missing something... since phosphates and nitrates are so low to undetectable. almost like an ULNS. i have brightwell amino, and coral color and restore. just not sure if i should use or not
i will post pictures when the lights come on. now i am doing alittle research on the brightwell products i have... i was wondering could it be my light is to strong for the tank? tek 6 bulb t5 combo as follows
