Squamosa coloration

I receieved a squamosa from a fellow reefer: 3". He was originally under PC's in the fellow's tank, but paired with another clam was killing his calcium levels too quickly. He seems extremely happy under my MH/VHO setup and is fully expanded.

Curious as to coloration change. He's more of a brownish color with very faint purple/gree/bolue markings (brown is similar to that of brownish acros under PC lighting, if that helps).

Is there a chance that he will color up with the incresed lighting after a bit longer term acclimation?

the brown will probably become darker and richer.
