Stand rehab

I am getting really sick of my sh!!ty stand and canopy. I can pretty much build a new canopy from scratch with no problem. I really don't know what to do about the stand. I don't want to break the whole tank down to move it to a new stand. How hard do you think it would be to slap some molding and new hardware on it to make it look good? Can I paint it with the tank full? How can I sand it tot get it ready for paint with the tank full?

What if we built some panels that would cover your old stand. You know kinda like cabinet refacing. I'm sure we could come up with something with it not costing alot.

kinda like they do for steel stands, that would work. as far as painting it, i have had no problems painting mine with the tank up and running. i would not use oil base as the fumes may cause a problem

Doing good from what I've seen of it.
Wendy ha been taking care of it for me while I'm in San Antonio.
It is amazing how small it can look when you get things spread out in there But that should be big enough for us for a while.
