Star Fish????

Which kind of starfish would be best for my tank and easy care, its a 29 gallon biocube .

I don't think any starfish would be suitable in a 29g nano. Maybe fromia if you let it establish for a year or longer so film algae can be plentiful to support it.

You might be ok with a serpent star. Mine did fine in nanos before we set up the big tank.

serpent or fromia, but the longer you wait the better.

Serpent may survive eating detritus and will take hand-feedings. Fromia will die, no matter what you do.

Sorry to say it, but that sand sifting star is almost certainly doomed in your tank. It might take a while, but there's no way that a 29 can support one over time.

To the OP, harlequin serpents or brittle stars (but not the green ones) are your best bet.

My sand sifter is the only thing that cleans the sand. She is out and about often. She was recommended bu the store and they know all my specs. If I notice things going down hill I will rehome her.. But she's been doing great.. plus I have a bad habit of over feeding pellets and large and small mysis shrimp ..

Well i hate to stray from the op but i will agree with the above poster. Things may appear good but i had two in my 120 and returned them a few weeks later after tons of research on them. TBH saying something was recommended by the LFS is almost worse as 95% are out for your money and will tell you to keep a giant trigger in a bio cube :face palm: To me i would take the fact that its out a lot as a sign its starving and looking for food, as in nature they hunt for organism in the sand bed not out and about in the ocean, copepods etc... and your tank can't feed one long term which has basically been proven over the years.
