Starting my war with Ich- first time, advice needed

If someone could walk me through the process that would be great. Whatever is easiest and makes sure I get rid of the ich.

1. Remove all fish from display tank
2. Treat fish in a hospital tank with either cupramine or chloroquine phosphate; active treatment for 30 days, observe for duration of 12 weeks
3. Leave display fishless for 12 weeks; no need to sterilize the tank
4. Ghost feed tank to maintain CUC and biological filter
