Stocking Suggestions

Hello. I am looking for some guidance on adding stock to my tank.

I don't want to overstock, but do have some I am interested in adding. I have a FOWLR 150 gallon 72" with at 30 gallon sump. 150 lbs of live sand and 100-125 lbs of live rock. I'll add a link of a video.

Current stock:

Yellow Tang
Koran Angelfish
Percula Clown (just started taking interest in my carpet anemone, its awesome!)
Niger Trigger
Blue Hippo Tang

I've been looking into some other fish and was wondering if I could get some advice on how much more I could add.

Fish I am interested in:
Humu Humu Picasso Trigger (I know he will need to be added last)
Mandarin Dragonet
Lunar Wrasse
Bicolor Blenny

Naso Tang (cool fish, is a 150 too small?)
back and forth on a dogface puffer
How are Pinktailed Triggers? There is a beautiful one at the LFS by me.

Thank you. BTW I am addicted, so if you think i need a 600 gallon just let me know :) jk.

I would be weary of adding a dragonet because the triggers could get aggresive and pick on the little fish. As well as their specialized diet. I wouldn't consider adding another tang. You've got 2 tangs that will become a decent size so another would be excessive I think. I'd do the Pinktailed trigger, the bicolor blenny, and possilbly the other trigger too. But three triggers might be just as excessive as 3 tangs.

I would check out a blue throat or a sargassum trigger before a Humu Humu as they can get aggressive. In cases where they aren't aggressive towards tank mates they can be over powering during feeding time causing others to hide. One big problem with having so many triggers is they are so hard to leave for any period time and automatic feeding can be difficult. If I were you I would take a deep breath and take it easy for a while so you can get a feel for big these fish will get. The 150 will only get smaller.

A few points to add to the other great advice here

Mandarines need live copopods to survive long term. Unless you have a well established refugium I would suggest you not add one

IMO a naso tang is too small for a 150 gal---that's a big tang as an adult-24 inches

Watch those carpet anemone---they grow very large and have been known to take out pretty big fish like the yellow tang.
