Have you researched the ribbon eel at all? The bad survival rate, and the needs to get one to eat?

EDIT: Just saw your avatar. Do you have one already? Any pointers you can give? I am really considering one.

Hey Chef, you could probably build, or have Manny Build, a similar sump for much cheaper than the $275. You may want to look into it.

Also, what pump are you using on the Oceans Motion?

aquakight. i would completely avoid the eel if i were you, the only reason i have mine is becuase a fellow reefer had already had one that was eating. if you fin d one that is already eating and regularly then thats great but i just would avoid the LFS on these guys all together.

Ya im gonna look into having manny build me that sump, i dont have the oceans motion yet but i know roger had/has one he is trying to sell. i might grab that one up

i cant find one as of yet. so far iv only seen them online at saltwaterfish.com . If you find a place that has em in stock or online and you are gonna order them, pick up 2 and i will pay you for it. im trying to to get one untill prolly january, but if you find some for a good deal i can go ahead and put him in my current tank and just watch the bioload more carefully. if i find some ill let you know.
