So can i make some batches of salwater and store them in plastic buckets put them in my basement and then when i need to use them put a heater in it and powerhead, like 2 days before i accually do the water change?

Lots of people do it, I don't see a problem with it. Personally, I don't have the storage room to do it, that's why I don't. Maybe if your looking for a more detailed answer someone will chime in. :D

I have a large garbage can full of SW that I aerate with an airstone and an air pump. I'm not sure if the aeration is neccesary or not. Make sure to have a lid on it though or you could get all kinds of strange stuff 'landing' in the tank. I remember finding 2 dead flies in mine once when I left the lid off.

I keep mine in a rubbermaid trash can. I get the brutes with wheels that you can place underneath the can. The wheels are sold seperately. Make sure your can has the number 4 or 5 in the triangle on the bottom of the can. The other ones are too high in recycled material. Also you need to continuously circulate the water.
