stream 6080

Roger, I'm looking to get a pair of streams soon. I was wondering if 2 6080 would work on my 240 gallon tank (8x2x2). I plan to put one on each side and build an osillator that will rotate them about 120 degrees every min. or so. The right 6ft of the tank is all sps, the left 2ft or softies and lps. any advice. ( I know you will say 6100's would be better and I agree but thats an extra 350+dollars and thats not always easy to come up with, but I would wait if I needed to.) Thanks in advance Jerry

Just keep in mind these pumps are heavy and strong and I can't imagine it would be possible to build an oscillator that was reasonable strudy and safe for less than $350 for two pumps. It will work but please figure out the oscillator first because this might be more expensive than you think.
