Stupid Question.. Prime in my washing machine...

I have always used bleach and prime on my socks. I am wondering if it would be safe to run a second wash with prime in the washing machine so I don't have to soak it in a bucket. I know this is probably more of a question for an appliance forum but it would be an equally stupid queen there... anyone try this or have any insight? :hmm3:

I have about 20 socks I wash with a 1/3 cup bleach I use hot water with an extra rinse. Then I wash them again with nothing and let them air dry outside. (Not when pollen is high) i remove the soap dispenser before hand to get out any residue. Never had a problem

I wouldn't waste the prime. after a rinse cycle there isn't enough bleach left to make a difference.

I wash mine in a gentle cycle with bleach (a cap or two) with an extra rinse cycle followed by a second washing with no bleach with an extra rinse cycle. I hang them up and let them air dry for a few days. I've never had an issue doing it this way.
