I am getting ready to start stocking my 150 Gal Tank. I have 3 X 250 MH 10K and 2 X 80W T5 Actinics. I will be building a mixed reef. How long should I run the lights? Basic question I know, but I am new to coral keeping. Thanks!
i used to run my MH 12 hrs a day, then 10, then 8, now i'm at 6. all i can say is each time i cut down, coral coloration improved. 6-8 is best IMO. i keep my actinic VHO's on 12hrs a day.
