In my 29 gal reef, I currently have 2 small Ocellaris Clownfish. The only other current livestock are about 20-25 smallish lavender mushrooms. I am planning on adding more soft corals and maybe LPS. I would like add another fish. Please give me some suggestions for a cool, intresting, reef safe fish. Thank you.

PS I have researched this but would like to hear from the RC crowd and their experiences.

Do you have a top on your tank? IF so , a firefish would be great. (they have a tendency to jump tho, that's why you need a top)

Or a gobie of your choice. And you can never go wrong with Blur/Green reef cromis.

Just make sure you do the reaserch on all the fish that you want to get, and make sure they won't bother your corals when you get some.

Good luck and have fun.

My suggestions would include one of the following:

Firefish (purple are really cool, and you might be able to keep a pair)
Clown Goby
Yellowhead Jawfish
Pygmy Angelfish (Cherub) --- this might be a coral nipper, 50/50
Pajama Cardinal

Don't forget inverts..

I don't have any fish in my nano.. only corals and inverts.. A Coral Banded Shrimp is the King of my nano...

I really like the firefish and my LFS has some really nice looking specimens. I do have a glass to but have not been usung it very much, because my Coralife light fixture has the lamest legs around and it makes it necessary to remove the lights to open the top. I guess I could egg crate it or buy the hinged legs for my fixture.

Forgot to mention that I have a cleanup crew consisting of 6 astrea, 1 trochus, 2 turbans, and 6 blue legged hermits.
