sump and lifereef skimmer - help

okay so i have my skimmer in a 20gal. tank - not really a sump. my problem is with micro bubbles. i am looking for some guidance in how turn this into more of a sump with the main goal of helping to eliminate th micro bubbles. any suggestions???

what kind of flow do you have going through the sump? Dont try to get all the tank circulation from the return pump.

Put a set of baffles between the skimmers output and the return pump .
