sump design opinions

Hey everybody,
Just wondering if this sump design makes sense. It's a rough draft so hopefully you can see what I am trying to do. Skimmer first, then bubble trap, then refugium, then small bubble trap but more room in between to fit sponges etc...
Using a 40 long. Skimmer section is 18" and other two are about 14". All bubble traps are 9" with a couple of them 1" off the bottom. Thoughts? Questions?

Looks good. Make sure to double check all your measurements for the skimmer, lights and pump you are putting in it.

I would reduce the second to last panel to the return to 8 1/2" so the water has someplace to go instead of being at the same 9" level though the whole sump.

This is the way I had mine(very rough draft lol), a 40g breeder
