sump pump size req'd

Any recommendations on sump pump size/make? GPH?

35Gal with 10 Gal wet/dry.

Well, you can use this:

Find yourself a pump that does about 150 gph after head loss is accounted for.

How many gph can your overflow handle?

I'm pretty sure the overflow could handle a lot more than the 150 gph that I suggested, but this is a 35-gallon tank. I'd think that in a tank that size, it would be preferable to have additional current coming from powerheads, for example. Maybe a Seio 820, or better yet, a Seio 620 and a MJ1200 with a Hydor flo deflector on it.

Yes.. I should have mentioned that there is a powerhead for water circ. int the main tanks and a skimmer in the sump, but seriously 150gph for a 35 Gal?

there wouldn't be any danger putting more through it, just that I don't know that you'd be accomplishing anything by doing so.
