sump/ref. size is of the essense

I was wondering if this would be to small. ive got very limited space in my 5yr old DIY stand, but i would like to keep it.


Tank Length = 20 inches
Tank Width = 7 inches
Tank Height = 15 inches

Tank volume is calculated as
Tank Volume = 9.1 Gallons

its for a 10gal mixed. ive also got another 2ft of head room above the 15in tank height. i will also be building this of 1/8 acrylic.

If the experts think i will have problems finding equip. to fit inside the tank, please let me know. not sure if i can DIY, not very good.

What do you want to put inside it? IMO no tank is too small for a refuge, so it will just depend on what gear you need to fit.
