Sump size

I am setting up a 110 gallon reef tank. I have a 90 gal that I've been planning to use for a sump, figured I wanted the biggest sump I could fit. The only problem is that it really doesn't leave me much space in my stand for much else down the road.

Am I likely to regret not having more space for other add ons? Will I see a big difference using the 90 vs finding a 40 gal breeder?

Sumps generally run about 1/2 full so about 1/2 the water between the two.
Practically speaking all electronics should be away from water anyway so----

I use a 40b for my 120DT. Anything bigger in the confines of the stand will just be a PIA. Pick up a 40b at petco $1/g sale. The one near me seems to have the sale going all day, every day.

What addons do you think you won't have space for? You can fit dang near anything INSIDE your sump that size without touching water.
