i am planning to breed -

- Green Mandarins
- Clark Clownfish
- Banggai Cardinalfish

Now with the corals i have they would be eaten or trapped, could i place them in the sump? or would that be a bad idea???

I'm not sure how well your corals would make out in the sump, you would probably have to rig up new lighting for them

Ha Ha, he means put the babies in the sump, not the corals.

I don't know anything about mandarins, some folks do use the sump for Bangai, but the clownfish larvae will not do well without a tank of their own.

Read Clownfishes by Joyce Wilkerson! Great info there.

K thanks i have a spare 10 gal ontop of the sump (not littualy) so could i keep the fry in their before ive sold them to LFS or to people all around NZ... the reason that i am trying to breed these guys cus prices in NZ a way way to high... would you pay around $70 for a baby yellow tang cus their $180 NZD OUTRAGOUS, of course im not trying to breed tangs at the moment but i want to get some experience with some othe mairnes... also ive just got mysely a tank upgread!
