Y have a new frags of sun coral.
Yerterday at night they ate artemia and today y gave them shrimp.

Is there any risk if I feed them as often as I can? (2/3 times a day)
The only problem I see is water quality buy may this hurt the coral?

regards,

It wont hurt the coral just your water quality. If they have have enough, they wont eat any more.

Is it in really bad shape? If not, IME, feeding it 1 time a day or even every other day is fine.

It is fine, I just want it to growth faster :D :D

I was asking because today one of them ate a large part of shrimp and a few minutes later another but smaller. I could see the shrimp inside the cral, it was incredible!

Well if your phosphates are too high it can inhibit calcification-----or growth of the sun coral. Nitrates wont hurt growth but phosphates will. I am almost positive they are skeletal building corals, thus phosphates should be within acceptable ranges.

It is kind of a pain but I read to remove them and put them in a small buket of tank wanter and feed them in there. I do that around twice a week and really feed them alot, the rest of the time the puff up and eat the roto feast that I add for the rest of the coral. They are increadable creatures! I do like putting them in the bucket it is fun watching them..... I even have a small flashlight that I will shine into the bucket (not directly on them, that woudl be rude)
