super skimmer micro bubble mods

Does anyone have any links for mods to stop the micro bubbles form comming out of my skimmer

Bestb thing is just using a fine micron sock with draw string on the output tube... how long have you had it set up for... took mine a couple weeks and would only have a small amount of bubbles which the micron sock took care of.

I had a css220 and the filter sock solved the problem once and for all, no questions asked, blah blah blah. Seriously, it is an instant fix and you can get rid of the bubble-trap box thing with its sponges that turn into nitrate bombs. Get three or four socks and change them when they a) flow over or b) look too nasty

so, i take the box off and just tie a filter sock to the output?

yep - i use a homemade felt filter sock. Works great.
