Did you ever turn the room lights on, when you tank had been dark for a couple of hours and watch the fish make like "statues"
You can almost hear them saying "shhh no one move, he hasn't seen us". LoL
I love the tank at night, all the snails and crabs come out and the fish just seem to drift about the tank like ghosts

Anyway, good night everyone

Nah, my wrasse, foxface, hawkfish all hide in the rocks at night. If I turn the lights on I don't see them. The clowns just keep huddling by their trachy.

Cute!
There are apps made for stargazing that turn your phone into a red-light flashlight. I use one to check out what the tank is up to at night. I don't think it works on fish, but I guess inverts can't see red light.
I caught my hermit being cute the other day and took a pic

That is actually a very good method for catching and removing a fish from a tank. The fish are startled and freeze to the point where you can reach in and grab them with your hand. Don't know if it would work with just the room lights, but I have used that method in the past.

My clowns hide at night. I'm going to have to try that star gazing app thought and check out the tank a little better at night using red light!

All my fish seem to have there own sleeping spot behind the rock. When I get up for work my tank looks totally empty.
