T-5 over 65

I have a 65 gal with some pcs over it right now. I plan on scrapping the pc's and running with t-5's. Right now I have softies and and anemone, but would like to do lps, and a few sps. What I need to know is how much light do I need over the tank to do this......

My tank is 36 inches long....canopy is a 35.5 inches. I was thinking 4 to 6 staggered 24 watt bulbs. Would this be enough or would I need to go ahead and try to get higher wattage bulbs?also what type should I get?

if you are going to do a mixed reef, then 4x39w should be fine, or 6x39w for heavy sps

Now this may be a stupid question but are all those bulbs 36" long? Is it possible to fing them 24 inches long?

The 39W bulbs are actually just over 35" long. They fit over a 36" tank.

yes, the 39w bulbs are made for 36" tanks with endcaps
